The Founder's Journey
I grew up in Jamaica watching my dad buckle his seatbelt, long before it became the law. Looking back, that simple act of leading by example is where my journey with safety truly began.
From offshore Field Engineer to Vice President of Safety, I've seen several layers of how organizations work and what makes safety succeed or stall. I learned that real safety culture isn't shaped by compliance systems or policies alone; it thrives when people feel empowered to take the simple actions that keep themselves and others safe.
What became clear over time is the need for a shift in how organizations build capability for safety culture. When safety is built into business strategy rather than bolted onto it, everything changes.
That conviction is why I founded TrueMomentum Safety.

Our symbol, Jamaica's national bird, the hummingbird, embodies this idea. Building safety momentum isn't about size or speed. It's about precision, resilience, and the ability to move with purpose in any direction.
