The Founder’s Journey: 30 Years Forged in Operations
I grew up in Jamaica watching my dad buckle his seatbelt, long before it became the law. Looking back, that simple act of leading by example is where my journey with safety truly began.
From offshore Field Engineer to Vice President of Safety, I’ve seen several layers of how organizations work—and what makes safety succeed or stall. I learned that real safety culture isn’t shaped by compliance systems or policies alone; it thrives when people feel empowered to take the simple actions that keep themselves and others safe.
Upon reflection, I have come to the realization there needs to be a fundamental shift in how capability is built for safety culture — a solution focused on accelerating, internal ownership and integrating safety into the core business strategy. This is embodied in The TrueMomentum Blueprint — a framework that combines the rigor of executive strategy and P&L insight with the reality of operational execution.
That conviction is why I founded TrueMomentum Safety.

Our Guiding Principle: Likkle But Tallawah
Our guiding principle comes from a Jamaican saying: “Likkle but Tallawah”, meaning small but mighty. This saying reflects the core spirit of TrueMomentum Safety — small, consistent actions can create powerful results.
Our symbol, Jamaica’s national bird, the hummingbird, brings this idea to life. Like the hummingbird, building safety momentum isn’t about size or speed; it’s about precision, resilience, and the ability to move with control in any direction. The hummingbird represents the purposeful, deliberate safety culture that we strive to create.
The TrueMomentum Blueprint is grounded in this idea: a shift in safety culture doesn’t come from sweeping transformations, but from the disciplined, consistent application of small, high-impact actions by every person.
